Normal D-rings screwed to the moulding can sometimes cause damage to the next frame in a consignment.
La-Flat D-rings slip onto the edge of the backing board up to 2.5mm before it is fixed into the frame in the normal way. Ideal for deep back pictures.
Their design allows for easy cording or wiring and for you to tape over them for a neat finish. Brass plated. 48mm overall. Made in India.

The only small problem I found was that when attaching to a back board, especially a tight fitting one, the extra few mm can impair placing said board inside. If this is the case, simply cut small notches to move the fittings in slightly.
